There should be a way around this without having to go through her ID. Apple should’ve already come up with a solution to this problem especially if they are a minor, under someone else’s account, and don’t pay the bills. For the rest of the Apple subscriptions and all 3rd party subscriptions charged through your Apple ID, you will need an Apple device signed in to your account, or iTunes on a Windows computer to manage them. She’s a minor and I pay for her phone and any subsequent subscriptions and if I want to cancel and not have to go through my child I should be able to. ![]() ![]() It shouldn’t matter if it’s under a different Apple ID. Since I’m the account owner and manager I feel like I should be able to cancel or change anything I pay for monthly. So whenever she purchases a subscription now, it won’t show up under my purchases or subscriptions so I can cancel or change it. I have others on my account and they set their phones up under by ID but also created their own. How to cancel an app that didn’t use my Apple ID but their own ans I was charged because they are minors and under my phone plan When my daughter got a replacement phone she didn’t set it up under my Apple ID but her own. So the only way that I can view/manage her subscriptions seems to be through her iPhone. Is that right? I really hope there’s a way I can do it online/from my PC. I’m told that even with Family Sharing, I can’t add her account to mine. me to an iTunes link which wouldn’t open and it told me to open up the iTunes app on my PC. I did that but that’s just my Apple account and not hers so I couldn’t review the subscription. It took me an hour and a half and in the end I had to contact Apple to get them to do it. When I clicked on the ‘review your subscription’ link on the email, it took review the subscription. She went off to school with her phone and I wanted to unsubscribe. I only had today to cancel it as it was a trial followed by monthly payments.Īnyway, here’s my issue. I got an email this morning saying that she’d purchased an app (although she swears blind she didn’t). You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase - Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription - You may cancel a subscription during its free trial period via the subscription setting through your iTunes account. Her Apple account is linked to my email address. My daughter (12) has an iPhone and I don’t. ![]()
